  • July 26, 2019

Ben Blackburn Racing has announced continued sponsorship for Supercars driver Andre Heimgartner.

Heimgartner, who is also the Ambassador for Ben Blackburn Racing, said he was grateful for the ongoing sponsorship and support.”I’m so thankful for the continued support from Ben,” said Heimgartner.

“Ben’s knowledge in public relations is highly regarded and I’m grateful to have his experience and backing.

“Having created the Andre Heimgartner Fan Page on Facebook and assisting in building a positive fan base has been great and without the support of fans and of course the personal backers like Ben, I wouldn’t be racing – so a huge thank you for the on – going support.”

Director Ben Blackburn said:

“Andre is having an outstanding season with Kelly Racing and Plus Fitness. He has already had a podium at Phillip Island, several top 10s and is running much higher up in the Championship points than this time last year.

“He has lifted his game to a new level, with his training and race preparation with having Josh Webb from 1 Percent Performance in his garage at every event which is making a real difference with his improved race results.

“I have invested some resources into promoting him on social, we have done a number of Kelly Racing merch and event giveaways to Townsville and stuff like that.

“My focus is to see Andre driving up the front. I have alot of confidence in his ability to do that and continue to achieve more podiums.

“At the same time, we will keep promoting him and keep growing his army of fans.

“I am really pleased to have Andre as our Ambassador.

“Andre is a team player and people like that about him. He doesnt walk around with a chip on his shoulder like the world owes him something.

“He is always professional, respectful and polite to everybody. He understands the importance of keeping sponsors and fans happy and doing media commitments.

“We look forward to what the rest of the season has in store,” Ben Blackburn said.
