Car City return with Heimgartner

NED Racing’s Andre Heimgartner has gone back to the future with Car City who will partner with him as a personal sponsor for the 2020 season.

The reputable brand partnered with Heimgartner back in 2017 and have announced they’ll be making an appearance back with the 24-year old as he debuts in his new Ford Mustang in the 2020 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship. The racer is set to run in his new machinery for the first round of the Series at the Superloop Adelaide 500 this weekend.

For Heimgartner the sponsorship is truly special.

“Back in 2017 I fell out of Supercars and went back to Carrera Cup. Car City backed me in 2017 and were an integral partner to help with my success in Carrera Cup and also in Asia. With that I was offered the opportunity to join Brad Jones Racing at Bathurst and the Gold Coast and weeks later I signed to Kelly Racing. I haven’t forgotten how important they were in my career, so joining with them again in 2020 is fantastic.” Car City are one of Australia’s largest pre-owned car networks offering finance solutions with sites in Ringwood in Melbourne and Michinbury in Sydney. Director Ruvi Herzog, announced the sponsorship as a particularly satisfying reunion. “Back in 2017 we backed Andre. In that year he performed exceptionally well and delivered excellent value to Car City. We’ve really enjoyed watching his career progress and with the announcement of Andre racing a Mustang, we were really keen to get involved. We look forward to partnering with Andre and David Reynolds in 2020 to engage with our dealers and customers." Car City will feature on Heimgartner’s helmet and assets throughout the year with other promotions to be announced.
