Heimgartner back in action for Round 2 of Eseries
Andre Heimgartner is back in action and ready to roll for Round 2 of the BP Supercars All Stars Eseries. The 24-year old was faced with computer issues over the weekend, which ultimately put him in doubt as to whether he’d be able to compete for the next round of the virtual racing.
After putting out an SOS call early in the week, AFTERSHOCK PC Australia came to the rescue with a new simulator setup, guaranteeing Heimgartner a position on the grid.
“A big thanks to the guys at AFTERSHOCK PC Australia for coming to the rescue and hooking me up with the works ahead of Wednesday night,” said Heimgartner.
“They certainly saved the day!”
Driver of the NED Whiskey Mustang kicked off his online racing successfully and is currently sitting fourth in the BP Supercars All Stars Eseries Championship after round 1.
“I’m pretty happy with the start I had to the Eseries, so hopefully I can continue that momentum and have another good few races tonight,” said the Kiwi.
Qualifying begins at 6pm AEST tonight, Wednesday 15th April; which can be exclusively watched on Fox Sports 506. Racing then commences at 7pm AEST on Fox Sports 506, Kayo, 10Play and Sky Sports (NZ) as well as live streaming available via the Kelly Racing, NED Whiskey and Supercars’ Facebook pages.
