Impressive start for Heimgartner in the BP Supercars All Stars Eseries

Andre Heimgartner has made an impressive start to the BP Supercars All Stars Eseries, which kicked off with round one on Wednesday night, 8th April. The race format consisted of race 1 and 2 at Phillip Island and the final race at Monza.

The 24-year old proved his online simulator racing skills were of brilliance after coming away with a fourth in race 1 and sixth in both of the final two races.

Andre reflects on his virtual Eseries debut:

“I had a lot of fun last night on the sim. I’m actually pretty surprised with how it went overall. I had some fun battles and I’m really pleased with my results, which puts us in a good position in the Championship.

“It’s great that we can still race and put on a show for the fans and sponsors whilst our current season is on hold. I hope everyone enjoyed watching it and hopefully we can get more people tuning in for the next one.

“I’m looking forward to round 2 as we head to Europe and take on Silverstone and Barcelona – that’s set to be interesting!”

Round two kicks off next Wednesday, 15th April at 7pm AEST and will be aired on Fox Sports 506 and Kayo. Live streaming of the race can also be viewed online via the Supercars’ Facebook page as well as Kelly Racing’s Facebook page.
