Top ten finishes for Heimgartner in round 2 of the Eseries

The BP Supercars All Stars Eseries kicked off for round 2 on Wednesday night and Andre Heimgartner continued to impress, coming away with top ten finishes in all four races for the evening.

The schedule included two races in Silverstone (UK), before heading to Barcelona (Spain) for the final two virtual races.

Heimgartner reflects:

“Overall I’m very happy with how round 2 of the Eseries went. I had a bit of a set back with having to get the new computer all setup after my old one died. Thankfully though, the new one ran perfectly so a big thanks to Aftershock for supplying me with a new PC at such late notice. “It was a pretty solid night of racing, I did alright in qualifying and managed to finish inside the top ten in all of the sessions which put me in a good position ahead of the races. I was hoping to finish a little higher in the races and I think we could have had better results had we not got taken out twice, but luckily, we were able to recover in both instances and still managed to finish inside the top ten.

“I’m really looking forward to getting back into it for round 3 as we head to the Mountain, I’ve been really enjoying it so far and Bathurst is always a good track – virtual or real! Hopefully we can continue to excite fans and grow the number of people tuning in.”

The BP Supercars All Stars Eseries kicks off with round 3 next Wednesday 22nd April, 7pm AEST on Fox Sports 506, Kayo, 10Play and Sky Sports (NZ); as well as live streaming available via the Kelly Racing, NED Whiskey and Supercars’ Facebook pages.
